As Americans today, we face a multitude of environmental challenges. Today is
the day for each of us to take personal action. Each of us can
contribute in small ways in our daily lives by conserving the water we use in
our homes, recycling glass, paper, and aluminum products, purchase products that
have already been recycled, and support new and innovative ways to manufacture,
support and purchase alternative fuels.
Our need to reduce our dependency on foreign oil grows more with each passing
day. It is a threat to our overall economy as well as our national
security. Business leaders and politicians from across our nation are in
agreement that we must take drastic measures to rethink alternative energy
sources NOW. We cannot remain hostage to foreign oil. Today
over 97% of our transportation energy is petroleum based. Our nation
cannot continue with a "business as usual" attitude.
Alternative fuel, like Ethanol, and Flexible Fuel Vehicles, are the keys to
releasing our country from the locks that bind us to foreign oil sources.
I intend to do my part by manufacturing an alternative fuel that is
environmentally friendly, will burn cleaner, reduce our dependency on foreign
oil sources and cost less at the gas pump; all starting in New Jersey.
